Yummy Oreo Cheese Cupcakes

Decided to make oreo cheese cupcakes after feeling bored from doing nothing.

On the thursday morning (15/8) I was suppose to make the cheese cupcakes, took out the electric hand mixer to try and fml, it was not working. Went down and bought a whisk instead to manually whipped the whipping cream. Read online that manually whipping take only 3-5 mins but I took like 15-20 mins.

Made 11 cupcakes. 6 from the metal cupcakes holder and 5 from individual moulds.
Oreo Cheese Cupcakes
Nice right? They're all gone now. Into the tummies of my papa and me.
I would love to bring them out and share with people but the problem with cheesecakes are that they have to be kept refrigerated. Hence, unless I have a portable mini fridge, it will be hard to bring them out for people.
On Sunday, my papa bought me a new electric mixer. He was like, " Now you can go make mooncakes."
Can't wait to play with it. Baking is quite fun but the washing up after baking sucks to max.
Yay, now I just need a better oven, cause for my oven, I think the heat is always not evenly distributed.

Danro

Met Pingxuan for lunch at Nex on Monday.
Went to Danro which is under Lenas to try their Japanese Hotpot buffet. Thanks to Pingxuan for the treat to celebrate my graduation.
Yuan Yang Guo
We get to choose 2 soup flavours. We chose chicken & milk and wafu miso broths. Their soup base is quite nice but I think the difference between the different types of soup base is not distinct. They also refill their soup base using either chicken/wafu base, which will cover up whatever is distinct about the soup base, like the milky taste in my case. You get to refill the soup base on your own by getting your required either chicken or fish soup from the buffet table, don't have to get the servers to refill for us.
They have a wide variety of food choices. Apart from the usual steamboat choices, they have cooked food, Japanese food choices like sushi and onsen egg and desserts. However, not everything is nice. Their cooked food is really below standard. Their fried chicken and fried rice both tasted like crap. The chicken was very dry and bland and the fried rice was too niam niam.
Yay!!! Time to fill the starving stomach. They also have a wide variety of sauces. Took sambal chilli and chilli padi for steamboat and soya sauce for sushi. The sambal chilli is not bad.

After filling our stomach till it almost exploded, it's time to fill the other stomach!
You get to pull your own ice cream. So cool, I vaguely remember last time 7-11 used to have it too but not sure if it's my imagination. I have no talent in making a one stroke nice ice cream shape but I think my design is not bad. Haha rainbow sprinkles plus chocolate sprinkles plus chocolate sauce.
They also have watermelon and mini cakes. Damn upset, only when I was leaving I saw they refilled this white piece of cake.

I think my appetite for this steamboat buffet was below expectation. I think I usually can eat more than what I ate that day when I go for steamboat buffets. The most ridiculous thing is, I left the place at 3.30 and by when was going home at like 5.30, I was hungry already. O.o

Their buffet lunch is $17.90++ while their buffet dinner is $23.90++ on weekdays. Lunch buffets are so much more worthit!

During our lunch, found out that Pingxuan is going to Austrialia for work for 3 years in December. So envious!!! Haha, but I don't think I can survive 3 years on my own in another alien (to me) country.

Moving onto another issue. Sometimes I really orbi-good. Yesterday I drank ribena, coke and bubbletea and ended up getting asthma the next morning. Really orbi-good lo, cause usually even if I don't take medicine it will go away on its own by noon but today until 2pm it was still there. So ended I still took medicine.

Anyway since Friday, I have been telling people I'm on a low calorie/carbo diet. Haha, the idea is good but my actions are damn fail though.

Divas in Distress

I just finished watching Divas in Distress.

I started watching on Sunday night and just finished watching. It's only 22 episodes.

I thought it'll be really funny since it's suppose to be a comedy. It's funny here and there but it wasn't as funny as I thought it will be. I thought I will keep laughing throughout the series but sadly I didn't. There seems to be non-stop troubles in their families and between the couples so it feels like there more quarrelling and trying to resolve their problems rather than comedy. I like the 2 new couples in the show though. However, almost everytime Vincent and Kwai Yi Hei are together, they have to play the song 'Can't take my eyes off you', I dont like.

On the other hand, I think the show taught me something too. Sometimes, not to jump to a conclusion too fast. Like towards the ending, when they were saying Miu Sing Ho had an affair because her bloodtype was O and her husband's bloodtype was suppose to O and their son had bloodtype A. However, it appeared that it was because her husband didn't know his bloodtype was A because he thought his sister was O so he was O. So sometimes, there is a need to have blind faith in the person even though all evidences are against him/her. However, it's hard especially when all evidences are pointing against the person. How do you draw the line between trust and being a fool.

The ending of the show was really lame. Like wtf superman lee is really superman and flew into outer space.

Rant

Sometimes I sit down and think, in the quiet and lonely night. Lol.

Why should I be your second, third, fourth or fifth choice. Somebody you ask out to accompany you to do this or that because you can't find somebody else to ask out but not because you really want to ask me out.

Now thinking back, it's stupid of me to allow myself to get into it.

Lesson learnt, once but never again.

Likewise, I don't have time for people who don't have time for me or effort to waste on people who don't spare a/n thought/effort for me.

Kids Nowadays

What's with kids nowadays.

Really wondering what they learn in school.

On Saturday, I was at my grandma house. I took back my phone from my cousin because she said she hate me. Yeah, I'm that childish. That time my cousins said I was fat and I totally didn't want to lend them my ipod as punishment. Wakaka.

So after awhile she actually whispered to me f*** you. My other cousin and me were like, did I just heard that. Seriously, 6 years old, telling me that. I only learnt that word in secondary 1.

After that we were talking about birthdays. During the discussion, she said she wanted to buy a bra for my birthday. -_-

Are kids maturing too early these days?

Triumph in the Skies

Just finished watching Triumph in the Skies today. Some parts of the show I don't understand, like the r/s between Sam and Belle. Are such r/s really possible? I also don't understand if the Vincent that showed up after he died is actually an illusion of Belle or he's really a 'ghost' cause I don't think illusion can be rational.

I'm still considering if I should watch the sequel because they let Zoe die right from beginning. Ridiculous leh when the first part ended so nicely where she got her heart transplant and they got married. If you tell me cause the actress is no longer acting in the sequel then maybe I can accept that storyline but the storyline is another girl appeared in the show who looked exactly like Zoe. Plus Sam fell in love with another girl in the sequel. Hence, I feel that I will watch until very pengx.

Hong Kong dramas are really quite good though cause even though their dramas may be on the long side but it doesn't feel draggy.

Haha now my canto Yi ji bang! Haha, kidding.

Swensen

Met Carissa for dinner on Tuesday. Went to Swensen for dinner at Marina Square. When we reached there before 6, the place was quite empty. Marina Square seems like a good place to have dinner cause it's alot less crowded than raffles city.
Spicy seafood soup

Add $4 to complete the meal with soup of the day and soft drink. This soup has a very unique taste and it's quite nice. Haha, but I like everything that is spicy. Very different from the usual mushroom soup, chicken soup ...
Crabmeat Baked Rice - $14.90 ++
If you know me, I hardly eat rice when I'm outside. I'm a noodle lover. So it means the spaghetti there didn't really appeal to me. Carissa had crayfish pasta but she said it wasn't nice. I tried but it's the tomato sauce that I don't like so I won't comment.

So their baked rice. First bite, I thought it was quite nice cause it was melty melty and cheesy cheesy. That's the only nice thing about the baked rice, the first bite.

I was expecting baked rice to be cheesy even on the inside. However, the rice inside was just like normal rice not like baked rice. It was dry and not melty and cheesy. So disappointing.
Rodeo Wings - $9 ++
Not bad, but not the best and quite expensive. $1.50 for one piece. I prefer pizza hut's spicy drumlets.
Durian Mcflurry - $2.80
We had Durian Mcflurry for dessert too. Not bad, mild taste of durian so the flavor and smell is not too strong until you'll stink of durian. Too much of it will be a little gelat though.

I really want a job so I can at least shop. Now I can't really shop cause I'll feel guilty.

Carissa's father came to pick her up after that. Social phobic me decided to train back to avoid my foreseen awkwardness if I were to take the car with them.

世界这么之大,为什么就没有我的容身之处?
