Day out with my cousin

Belated photo with a Christmas tree.

Yesterday I met for cousin for kbox! It has been a long time since I last sang K, the last time was in Sept. Kala card is really quite worth it! $8 ($16 if you just made the card) and you get entertainment for 3 hours.

Walked around orchard after k. One of the main aim was to bring her to see the Christmas lights but she ah, unappreciative leh, never pretend to be amazed.

It was super hard to find a place to eat at ion and we were just looking for anywhere with a seat cause we were hungry.

Our other aim was to shop but I guess we ended up more window shopping. It was still good though. I will miss the freedom.

Father: why you dress like 11-12 years old.
Me: cause I'm 8 years old!

Tomorrow will be the start of 2014. Hope it will be a good year!!! And my cousins will be here tml!

Last weekend of 2013

It's the last weekend of 2013.

Time flies, in a blink of eye, I have already graduated.

This christmas I received alot alot alot of love. So much love that I feel undeserving of them.

The logcake was very yummy. Even my aunt said so and she's that kind who have high expectations (to me).

My cousin gave me a freaking Polaroid! I was so surprised that the next 5 mins I could only say wow. Wow!

Made carbonara and Oreo cheesecake with my cousin.

The carbonara was bad but we still finished all of it which means it isn't that bad. Haha, optimistic.

The Oreo cheesecake received good reviews though. Next time I shall try something else, maybe chocolate cheese cake.

2 more days of 2013 and it's time to receive year 2014. The horse year, and I hope it'll be a good year! :)

Bowling and Pooling

Oh my tian, today I spent the most amount of money in recent months.

Spent a day out with 2 of my cousins.

Went to menya musashi for lunch.
Love their red (spicy) sauce. Much more flavorful then the white one. Their lunch set is quite affordable actually, 10.90 ++ for either chicken/chashu and 3 gyoza/cold tofu. However, the chicken and cha shu is quite sad, one piece only. The chicken is quite hard, not very nice but my cousin said his cha shu was nice.

After that we went for bowling at tampines safra. I haven't bowled since secondary school. Bowling is not a cheap recreation.

4.20 for adults and 3.20 for students below 21 per game. Fml that I'm no longer below 21, sucks to be old.

Lol, I have no talent in bowling. I kept helping them to 'wash the drain'. My cousin both look quite talented though.

After bowling, we went to play pool upon persuasion from my cousin. The first and last time I played pool was in Korea where I displayed totally zero talent. However, this time I think I have improved and appears to have some talent in pool. Haha but i lost the talent when I returned from the toilet after the 3rd game. Pool is cheaper since is only $2 per game but can get boring when you play many many many rounds. We played 4 rounds!
After pool, we had 2 more games of bowling, lol and apparently I became worse wtf.

After bowling, we went back to Bedok Mall to walk around before having dinner at pepper lunch. I think hougang mall aglio olio at pepper lunch is nicer! Kyoto grape ice creams is yums.

Continued to shop around Bedok mall to walk away dinner.

I can already feel my aching body.

Tomorrow is cooking day!

Bedok Mall

Spent my Sunday packing my room, how sad. I'm damn bad at packing my room because i'm a hoarder. My father forced me to do it because my uncle and family is coming to Singapore!! Yay!!! Not that they are staying at my house, too many people. Anyway they are going to stay at atas hotel, never in my life have I stayed in a five star hotel before. Not only do I get to see my cousins, I will get to see the Nephew, who never knew my existence.

Quite some things to update but too lazy to do so. Why am I so lazy.

Visited the new Bedok Mall On Saturday. Nice!! I like it and it's so near to my grandma's house. There's a wide variety of shops there, which include a lot of food and shopping. Can you believe they have pepper lunch, menya musashi, Tim ho wan and uniqlo. In my opinion, their shops variety is much better than compasspoint or hougang mall. Can't believe they opened such a good mall at Bedok. Not sure if all the shops are opened yet but I doubt so because till now they only open until 2nd floor, which my cousin say is an open area. Chameleon was having sales, 10 items for 5 dollars, wtf cheap. Damn sad because I didn't end up getting because it's hard to find 10 items I like and most of them are ribbons/hair bands which I have alot already. Trying to make myself feel better.

Then we had ice cream. Durian ice cream from four seasons durian. Yummy and at $3, the price is quite affordable for a shopping mall atas ice cream.

Can't wait to go back and eat all the food! So tempted to eat everything.

Recently there's this mental age test that is very popular on Facebook. Went to try it and wtf, my mental age is 8. :x

Japan - Mt Fuji

So people told me that Japan transport is always on time, they are never late. ALL LIES!

On the day I was supposed to go for the Mt Fuji tour, I woke up super early to get to Shinjuku bus terminal to catch the highway bus to Kawaguchiko station at 7.10am.

Rahh, got lost on the way because I walked in the wrong direction so I had to keep asking for directions. Luckily I reached Shinjuku early to buffer for the time I spent getting lost, if not please kill me if I missed the bus.

The bus was supposed to reach at 8.55 and my tour will be 9.10 from Kawaguchiko station. However as there was a jam on the highway, I only reached there 9.15-9.20 and fml, the tour bus was gone. Panic Panic. So I was thinking if I should just waste my time and wait till 2.05pm for the afternoon tour or try to go somewhere by myself. Thankfully, there was wifi at the visitor's centre so I could figure out where the tour was going. Found out that their second stop was at Mt fuji 5th level so I went to ask if there was a bus to go up there and yes there was. So I bought the bus tickets and hope that by luck I will meet them up there or else I will come back to Kawaguchiko station and meet them for the afternoon tour.
Add some dark clouds and lightning over my head and that's my feeling at that time.

On the bus, up up and away!
Mt Fuji Spotted

That day's view of mt Fuji was good!

Desperate attempts for photos on the 5th level of Mt Fuji, I got strangers to take photos for me. Fml, forever alone.

Soon it was almost time for me to take the bus back down. While walking to the bus stop, I saw another tour bus and saw some girls up on the bus. Went to take a closer look and woohoo, I see Muihong.

Went back to Kawaguchiko station for lunch.
Hoto Pot Noodle
Their specialty. It's damn big bowl. Taste abit like our ban mian.
Our tour guide
Next we went to the ice cave.

Behind my smiling face, I almost died trying to walk through the ice cave because we had to be in a half squatting position most of the time. When I came out, I felt one of my legs like jelly and went on to have muscleache on the next few days.
Actually I was expecting to see something like this instead of what I saw so it was kind of disappointing.
The roots of the trees are actually growing out of the ground. This place is part of the suicide forest. Didn't know of  the existence of such a place until somebody from the tour group asked.
We're stepping on Lava.
I didn't climb down because I was worried if I climb down I may not be able to climb back up anymore. You can actually go inside the wind cave but the tour guide will need to apply for license and you need tools like helmets.

Since it's a Mt fuji tour so more photos of Mt Fuji.

People can sit nicely on the ledge...
I can only do a suicide pose.
More Mt Fuji Spam...

One with Muihong.
Found a pile of shit on the floor.

Anyway the bus back to Tokyo came late. Damn late some more.

Japan, Tokyo - Disneysea

Despite my old age, I have never been to disneyland so I was very excited to go to disney something!
After getting my minnie hair band, rushed to go get the fast pass for the toy story ride. Had a hard time trying to find the place though. In the end, the fast pass was at 9 ++ pm -_- so ended up queuing for the ride.

Nice decorations to entertain you while queuing. Although queuing still sucks because I was stuck there for more than an hour.
Selfie to entertain myself too.Yes, fml. I was wearing my hair band on the wrong side. For how long, I have no idea.

The toy story ride was quite good! Not scary yet fun!

Most of the people at Disneysea are very enthusiastic, they'll always be waving at you. This applies to both people working there and those their to play. If you're on the tram, the people walking who sees you will wave at you. Being influenced by their enthusiasm, I started waving too.
Minnie Mouse Ice Cream
My 600yen minnie mouse ice cream, apple flavoured. Everything is expensive in disneyland but too cute to resist. They have mickey ones too but it's orange flavoured.
Saw Mr and Mrs Incredibles during ice cream break. Everyone rushed to them for photos and signatures. Haha, so that's him looking for his wife lost among the crowd.

In a desperate attempt to take a photo with Mrs Incredibles, I actually asked a stranger to take the photo for me.
I forgot what his name is. He's so cute chasing the duck.

Went to watch the shows.. Disneysea has quite a lot of shows, so if you don't dare to take rides (like me), at least you have shows.
This was quite good, the rhythm of the music and the acrobatics.
Dancing with mickey and friends
Usually you have to ballot for this show. However, I didn't have, most likely because it's a Wednesday so it wasn't as crowded.

When I left the auditorium, it's time for PARADE!

My new found favourite disney characters!

Being able to watch the parade for the first time in my life made me very happy and touched. :')
Home for little mermaid
Inside the Aladdin? ride:

As you can see, it started raining. I was super sad because I went to ask one of people working there if there will be fireworks tonight and she said no.

So went to queue for one more toy story ride.
It looks so much nicer and vibrant with the lights at night.
After the ride, guess what I saw?
I first heard something going out there and I realized there's another parade/show!!! After the show, went to have a look at the souvenir shop and they were showing fireworks that night! Woohoo! So happy I stayed long enough to see the fireworks!
Even their plant is mickey-shaped!
Goodbye Disneysea!
