Snippets of Work

Shall change post titles from funnies to snippets of work since that seems more appropriate. 

J: Just now, xxx said that you are a princess.
Xxx: Ms Chen, you and xxxx are princesses. Mdm J is the Queen. Auntie E is the queen's mother. She is the empress. 

Not bad, now i become a princess.  I like. 

E: Ms Chen,  are you okay?
Me: yes,  why?
E: I thought you might be having a fever. 

Me: If I am tired,  should i go home and rest?
E: Yes, you should go home and rest after a hard day at work.  

O: Miss Chen, why are you always smiling?

Me: Huh? I don't always smile. I scolded you all during xxx class. 

O: Can you show me how you scold? 

This is the second time kids say I'm always smiling, but for adults I think the image they get when they don't know me is that I'm very dao.

xxx: We roll her into a ball and then we kick her.
Me to Eunice: She say they want to roll me into a ball and kick me.
Eunice: Ask her to tell me when they do that, I also want to roll you into a ball.

Student: *Keeps looking at one direction* Baby
Me: Where's the baby. There is no baby here.
Student: Baby
Me: No baby here *getting a bit freaked out*
 ~Second day~
Student: Baby
Me & mentor: There is no baby here.
Me: Omg, second day he is saying there is a baby here.
After I went to another student walked back to them...
Mentor: There is really a baby. At the drinks stall. 
 ~Kids are really super observant. ~

Boy: how old are you?
Me: how old do you think I am?
Boy: 13 years old?

During p1 orientation,  my mentor brought one of the kids to take the lift so I joined in.
Mentor: can auntie take the lift with us? Can jie jie take the lift with us?
Inside the lift
Mentor: auntie....  (I forgot what she said)
Me: what auntie?? Is jie jie!!
Me: Do you think I'm auntie or jie jie?
Boy: *thinks super long* jie jie!

Boy: what we call you?
Me: miss chen
Boy: miss chin?

Me: you remember what is my name?
Boy: yes
Me: very good, the other boy cannot remember. So what is my name?
Boy: actually i forgot.

Girl: how old are you?
Me: you guess?
Girl: 42?
Me: *jaw drop* huh I look like 42?!!
Girl: then how old are you?
Me: 24
Girl: you are the opposite of my mom. 
I guess I really look like I have a primary school kid when people all start thinking I'm a parent. 

*discussing why one should study*
Me: if you don't study,  next time you cannot teach you kid.
Boy: then I ask the mom to teach lo!
