Foodpanda really piss me off big time.
Last Saturday, Foodpanda was supposed to deliver makisan to my grandma's house as part of our mother's day celebration since it's very difficult for my grandfather to leave the house, so we just order food over. I placed order for the food 2 days before and guess what kind of crap Foodpanda gave me. At 5.34pm, they EMAILED me that the order has been cancelled, when the delivery time was at 6. They didn't even bother to inform through phone call or message. I guess they expect people to be checking their email, every second to see if they cancelled the food order. I really find it ridiculous that I ordered 2 days before and they cancelled the food half an hour before the delivery time. And in the email, they still have the cheek to ask us to find some other food to order, when their whole fb page was filled with people complaining about late orders. I think if I order from them, I will never get my food. Luckily, my father is damn kiasu, so he ordered chicken when he bought spaghetti from Jollibee, and my grandma bought satays and otahs. If not, just the pizzas and spaghetti will definitely not be enough. Imagine when everybody started asking me where is the sushi.
So I went to their fb and left them a comment on their crap service, and they requested I pm-ed them. Then in one of their message, they said they will send out an email to within 24 hours. No emails and I left them a facebook pm, then the email came. So what they did was offer at $10 voucher that comes with a min spending and expire at the end of June. I think their customer service recovery is just rubbish. Seems like that feel that spoiling people's special day/gathering is worth $10. Worse than scoot please.
I am not going to use Foodpanda service ever again.
On a side note, Dominos delivery was very good. They were on time and the pizzas were delivered piping hot.
