Backstreet Boys Larger than Life Concert Singapore 2017

*wipes dust off my blog*

It has been a long time since I do a proper blog post, and I was looking at my Japan blog posts and they are also half way done. And I also want to update about my HK trip in September.

I really admire those people who can work and study at the same time. I don't think I can have such determination. Everyday when I come back from work, all I feel like doing is laze around, and on weekends all I feel like doing is also to laze around.

Back on topic.

Last Saturday I went for Backstreet Boys concert with Eunice. I think only when I tell people that I'm going to BSB concert, then I realised that there are so many of their fans. Actually I'm not really their fan fan. I don't even know the members name except for Nick Carter, and I only know one song "shape of my heart", but I really love that song. Other than that, I don't really know their other songs except maybe I have heard them long time ago. Plus I usually listen to Chinese music. So for the past few weeks, especially the last few days before the concert, I was brainwashing myself with their songs (and it worked!). So initially when the concert was just starting, I was thinking in my mind, why am I paying so much money to watch uncles. But ended up, I really enjoyed their concert! It was the best concert that I have been too, because it was so high (not that I have been to many concerts).

Before the concert, still feeling fresh

Look at the crowd!

So when they first started playing their video to start the concert, omg the screams, and when they came out...Then everybody at my area started standing (I'm not sure if people at the stands were standing also). I think I am short so when everybody stand and I stand I can't really what is happening on stage already, their stage not high enough. But when everybody stand and jump and dance and sing then there is more feel. We were standing almost throughout the whole concert, except maybe when they went to change and during 1 of the songs which I don't know, but I think a lot of people don't know also because people started sitting down during that song to take a break.

Too bad I can only upload videos below 100mb.

They can sing live damn well and dance super well too! I feel that their moves are super coordinated and their stamina is damn good, you won't even know they are in their late thirties, or in their forties. I think they have better stamina than me. Can you imagine dancing and singing in that crazy heat, in long sleeves and jackets. (PS. National stadium needs aircon). I really like the atmosphere where everyone is singing and dancing/moving along with their songs, and most importantly, enjoying ourselves.
After the concert - da sweat
When we were outside the stadium after the concert, we heard somebody said she eye contact 4 times, haha so I told Eunice next time we get first row seats so we can also eye contact. Surprisingly the trip home wasn't that bad, the mrt station and train weren't crowded. I was telling Eunice I think I lost 10kg from sweating from the heat and the high of the concert.

After the concert, I couldn't sleep that night. I think it was all the adrenaline rush, and their music just kept playing in my head, even until now. Then when I fell asleep, I couldn't fall into deep sleep also, I ended up waking up every half hour with music playing in my head.

I hope they come back again soon! Soon like next year!

Actually I'm also blogging about the concert so that it can act as a form of closure for me, so that I will stop constantly humming their songs. I seriously suffering from the withdrawal symptoms, and I think so is Eunice.
